Thanks for reaching out! Sadly, there isn't an adapter available that will let the Rhino Rack Stow It Utility Holder, part # RR97AG, mount to your 2020 Subaru Outback's factory aero crossbars. That carrier is designed specifically to attach to crossbars with a built in T slot, and the factory Subaru crossbars don't have T-slots.

If you're looking to carry a single paddle, shovel, axe, or another straight handled tool, we do have a similar option that will work with your factory aero bars. I recommend the Yakima TopGrip, part # Y04086, which clamps directly around the crossbar instead of requiring a T slot.

If you can tell me a little more about what you're planning to carry, I'd be happy to see if there's an even better option for your setup.

Out of curiosity, what do you usually carry on your Outback's roof, bikes, kayaks, skis, or a cargo box?

Thanks for the reply! I want to hold 1-2 fishing rods, but I have limited crossbar space because I already have a Thule motion cargo box taking up most of the cross bar width

@PeterH Ah, I got you! Those Thule Motion cargo boxes definitely take up a lot of crossbar space. Since the Yakima TopGrip wraps around the crossbar, it would most likely interfere with the cargo box, so I don't think that's going to be a great solution for your setup. Unfortunately, we don't have a side mount option like the Rhino Rack that will work with the factory Subaru aero bars. One option that I think would work well is the SeaSucker Pro Series Rod Holder, part # 302-MF5082. It uses heavy duty vacuum mounts instead of the roof rack, so you can attach it to the rear window of your Outback and carry up to two fishing rods without competing for space on the crossbars. Out of curiosity, what kind of fishing do you usually do, freshwater lakes or chasing saltwater species?
