Question:

Why doesnt it have a mounting bracket for a 7 pin connector? Do you sell a hitch for a 2019 MDX that does?

Hi James, that's a great question. You're not missing anything. Most hitch manufacturers have moved away from building a 7 way mounting bracket into the hitch itself because there are so many different trailer wiring configurations and mounting preferences. We don't carry a hitch for the 2019 Acura MDX with an integrated 7 way bracket.

The etrailer Trailer Hitch Receiver, Part # e98840, is still my favorite option for your MDX. I really like the matte black finish because it blends in nicely with the factory trim, and the concealed cross tube gives it a clean, factory-like appearance instead of having a big bar hanging below the bumper. If you're adding a 7 way connector, you'll just need to pair it with the Pollak 7 Way Mounting Bracket, Part # PK12711U. If you'd rather not drill, another great option is the Eclipse Magnetic Mounting Bracket, Part # 306-X6020. It gives you a clean mounting solution and can be removed or repositioned whenever you need.

Out of curiosity, what are you planning to tow with your MDX, a camper, a boat, or a utility trailer? Do you already have the 7-way wiring?
