I have a 2019 nexus wraith 33w on a international chassis and Im looking for ideas on a spare tire mount separate from the receiver

Hi John! I get why you're looking for something other than a hitch mounted spare tire carrier. Those 19.5 inch tires are pretty heavy, and if you're already using your receiver, the last thing you want is something taking up that space. However, there are not a ton of options available for a motorhome because the tires are so heavy.

The Lippert Under Chassis Spare Tire Carrier, Part # LC159041, is actually designed to bolt onto a trailer frame, so we don't recommend it for a motorhome like your Nexus Wraith. You might be able to make it work if you have the clearance and stay within its 150 pound capacity, but it would likely require some custom fabrication or welding.

I think a much better option is the Roadmaster Hitch Spare Tire Mount, Part # RM-195225. Even though it installs in your 2 inch receiver, it has a built in 2 inch receiver of its own, so you don't lose the ability to tow a vehicle or use another hitch mounted accessory. It's also designed to handle the larger 19.5 inch and 22.5 inch wheels commonly found on motorhomes, so it's a really clean and practical solution.

Just out of curiosity, what do you normally have behind your Wraith, a towed vehicle, bikes, or something else?
