Question:
Ive got a 16 car hauler trailer, has the 5' stow away ramps. The back of the trailer is 18 off the ground. The 5' ramps make for a very steep angle when backing my tractor onto the trailer. Would your aluminum ramps 325-GH-R84 make the angle less steep and the 7 length help as well?

Expert Reply:
They sure will Steve! The Gen-Y Hitch Aluminum Loading Ramp Set item # 325-GH-R84 will definitely help the steep angle you're dealing with. You would have just over a 12° angle with this 7' ramp on a 18" deck height. Your 5' long ramps have a 17-1/2° angle measured from the same height so it'll be a noticeable improvement.
The Gen-Y Hitch Aluminum Loading Ramp Set item # 325-GH-R84 comes with a pair of 84" long x 14" wide x 2-1/4" thick. They have a combined 6,000 lbs capacity and weigh only 36 lbs per ramp. The hooks built into the ends of the ramp will securely attach to the back of your car trailer.
What kind of tractor do you have and what do you use it for?
