Hi Michael,

Yes, the Pacbrake Alpha HD Pro Air Bag Suspension Kit, part # PB28HV, will 100% improve the ride quality of your 2021 Ford F450 Platinum FX4, especially when you're towing or hauling heavy loads. One of the biggest advantages of this kit is its built in jounce bumpers, which let you safely run the air bags at 0 psi when the truck is unloaded. That means you can keep a smooth, factory-like ride around town without having to maintain a minimum air pressure like many other air bag systems require.

When you are towing or carrying a heavy load, the air bags provide up to 5,000 pounds of load leveling support to help keep the truck level, reduce squat, minimize body roll, and cut down on the bouncing and porpoising you can feel over dips and uneven roads. The internal jounce bumpers also provide cushioning if you hit a large pothole or bump, helping to prevent the harsh bottoming out that can happen with a heavily loaded truck.

Since improving ride quality is your main goal, this is one of the best air bag systems available because it gives you the benefits of load support without sacrificing comfort when the truck is empty.

Out of curiosity, what do you usually tow or haul with your F450, a fifth wheel, a camper, or heavy work equipment?

We tow our Grand Design Momentum 397TH. The roads to Pin Top, AZ, are really rough, and this would help.

@Michael Wow, you are dealing with some pretty treacherous roads there. Arizona is beautiful though! I think the Pacbrake will serve you well. Keep us updated :)
