Looking for Parts to Flat Tow 2025 Ford F-350 and 2022 Jeep Wagoneer

Have a new motorhome with a 2.5 hitch. Need the options to tow 2 different cars. 1 2025 f 350 king ranch 4x4 the other is a 2022 jeep wagoner series 3. Thinking a 10k hitch, patriot style break system and wireing, baseplate and mounts for each car would be the best option. But looking for you’re recommendation .

Hey Tim, I'd be happy to help! Lets first start with the 2025 Ford F-350. For that I would recommend the Blue Ox base plate kit part # BLU58ER so that you can use a Blue Ox Tow bar like the Avail part # BLU78QV which fits 2-1/2 inch hitches.
Then for the 2022 Jeep Wagoneer you'd want the part # BLU46CR for if you have tow hooks or part # BLU66XR if you do not have them.
For lighting you can use the diode kit, # RM-15267, and not have to worry about cutting into the taillight housing. This will splice into your taillight wiring to allow your tow vehicle to control the taillight assemblies of the towed vehicle. This comes with a round 6-way connector that you will install on the front of your towed vehicle and enough coiled wire to go from there to the RV. You'll need a kit for each vehicle.
And finally, most states now require supplemental braking in the vehicle being flat towed. The easiest system to set up and use is the Blue Ox Patriot # BLU37TR, that applies the vehicle brakes in proportion to how much the tow vehicle is braking. This is the safest way to stop and it reduces wear and tear on both vehicles. This can be swapped between vehicles.

Would the Demco or NSA tow-bar be a better option? I have seen a few reviews on the blue ox units breaking and causing coach and tow vehicle damage. I hear the warranty on the Demco and NSA unit’s are far better. The NSA unit is rated to 12k and has an integrated breaking system built in to the bar. . If I went this route would I still need the patriot box? Just wanting the best unit for our big car set up.
