Hey Russ, thanks for reaching out!

The difference between the Demco DA70 and DA72 is the type of brakes they're compatible with.

DA70 # DM43CV is for hydraulic drum brakes.

DA72 # DM72VR is for hydraulic disc brakes and is available with or without an electric reverse lockout solenoid.

Both bolt on, fit a 3" trailer tongue, are rated for 7,000 lbs GTW and has Demco's EZ-Latch coupler.

If you're replacing an existing actuator, choose by the type of brakes on your trailer.

What kind of trailer are you working with and does it have drum or disc brakes?

I have still not completed my project yet. I have put it off for too long. I need to finish it.
