Question:

Hello, I recently purchased the Curt CrossWing hitch. I returned from my latest trip to find the handle on the locking pin had fallen off and was laying in the truck bed. I have the handle but appear to be missing some parts to reattach it. I presume it uses a set screw and I think there may be a spring. If I have the parts and a diagram, I can reattach the handle. Can you assist?

For your Curt CrossWing Lightweight 5th Wheel Hitch for Ford and Chevy/GMC Prep Package - 20K # C89PV, we do offer a replacement handle kit with # C24NR.

Unfortunately, Curt doesn't offer the handle hardware separately, so you'll need the complete kit. The # C24NR includes the replacement handle along with all of the hardware needed for installation.

I was also able to track down the installation instructions for the handle replacement kit. I will include a photo that shows a blown out view of how this pieces together.

Other than the situation with the handle, how has the CrossWing been working out for you? Do you have any trips coming up?
