Using Napier Sports SUV Tent on a Truck with a Bed Cap

Good morning. Would the Napier Sportz SUV Tent work on the back of Ford Ranger with a ARE MX medium canopy? Thank you very much.

Thanks for you question and happy to help.
Per Napier's website, the Napier Sportz SUV Tent - 5 Person - 9' x 9' - Blue and Gray # NA49FR will work will work with a truck that has a camper shell or bed cap as long as the highest point of the window/door of the cap does not exceed 80 inches.
I've included a photo of this tent installed on a truck with a bed cap. I would double check that measurement but I don't believe fitment will be an issue.
What sort of trips would you be looking to take with this truck and tent setup?

Thank you very much, Christopher, for your response. I am a landscape photographer and first trip with my truck, which I will be building for camping, will be to eastern Washington this fall to photograph the Palouse region. I am excited to not have to pay $100 or more for lodging.
