Question:
Hi, Hope this question finds you well! I am a contractor with a 2003 Ford Excursion. The original cross rails broke and I was not longer able to secure them. I am looking for a roof system that has the highest load rating. I plan on using it to transport ladders, lumber and other building materials. If possible, I would like a system that is easy to install. I would also me interested in something to make it easier to reach the top of the truck. Thank you! James

Hey James, for carrying all of the things you mentioned on the roof of your 2003 Ford Excursion I would recommend the Rhino Rack Platform part # RR49CP which is a confirmed fit. This measures 83 inches long by 56 inches wide and has a 264 lb weight capacity. This is our highest capacity option we have. To get up onto the rack easier a tire step like the part # HE4040 would be a solid option too.
