2026 Ram 1500 Tonneau Cover Compatible with RamBox

Question:
Many ads say I cannot Install a manual retractable tonneau cover on my 26 Ram 1500 with Ram boxes and the OEM tri fold cover due to the side rails. Can I remove the silver side rails to Install one of you retrax covers?

Hey Jeffery,
Instead of having to remove your factory rails, you can use RetraxPRO XR Hard Tonneau Cover - Retractable - Aluminum - Matte Black - Accessory T-Slots # RTX82XR on your 2026 Ram 1500. This model is specific to the Ram 1500 with RamBox installed and also is compatible with the multi-function tailgate, you won't have to alter much (if anything) on your truck to make this fit. I do see in the instructions that some bed liners would need to be trimmed for clearance, but that's about the only modifications necessary.
Are you replacing the OEM cover just for more functionality? Is there a specific feature you're looking for?

Had a retractable before on my 23 without the boxes and would like one for my 26 with boxes. Also the bed liner is a spray in so that won't be an issue. I will look at the model you suggested. Thank you so much!
