On the rain blades how much bigger do you buy than the window tri.

Hey Randy. That answer completely depends on how much clearance you have on the sides of your windows and what size window or windows you have. There's no set distance I can tell you to go off of.

The RainBlade RV Rain Deflector and Sun Visor item # RB24FR you were looking at is 42" wide overall with an inside width of 39". It's designed for 32" to 37" wide windows.

What size window or windows are you looking to add a rain deflector and sun visor to and are there any awning mounts or doors close to it?

@RandyS Thanks for the information Randy! For a 30" wide window, you'll need the RainBlade RV Rain Deflector and Sun Visor item # RB84FR. It is 36" wide overall so you'll want to make sure you've got 3" of clearance on either side of the window. For a 16-1/2" wide window, you'll need the RainBlade RV Rain Deflector and Sun Visor item # RB44FR. It is 22" wide overall so you'll need 2-3/4" of clearance on either side of your window. If your second window is 31" wide and not 16-1/2" you can also use the RainBlade RV Rain Deflector and Sun Visor item # RB84FR that I recommended for the 30" wide window. Please note these are designed for flat-sided RVs.
