Looking for Mounting Bracket for 6-Way that Comes with Blue Ox Tow Bar Lighting Kit

Question:

I have a Blue Ox BX8862 6 pin cable set. I need a way to mount the 6 pin socket to my tow vehicle. Do you sell any brackets the I can attach to my vehicle that will accept 6 pin socket from this kit? My tow vehicle has base plate with a square tube that connects the left and right base plate components. Id like to mount a bracket for the 6 pin socket to this tube.

Hey Michael, for a bracket you could use with the 6-way of the Blue Ox part # BX8862 which you could then attach to the bottom of your vehicle bumper. What base plate kit and tow bar do you have?

I have a Roadmaster Baseplate Kit 1556-3 and a Blue Ox 10,000lb tow bar.

@MichaelL are you suing an adapter between those two to make the connection?

I used a loose zip tie on the towed making sure it had plenty of slack. Worked fine but of course required occasional replacement due to UV. Cheap fix
