Recommended Flat Towing Parts for a 2025 Buick Envista

Updated 07/02/2026 | Published 06/28/2026

Question:

Hello. We have a 2026 Coachmen Leprechaun 319MB Class C. We would like to town our 2025 Buick Envista with all 4 tires on the ground. We are new to this. Both vehicles are stock from the factory. I would like to know what all equipment we would need. Please include any equipment recommended to help the motorhome handle easier, all towing equipment for both vehicles, along with any shielding, etc needed to protect the Buick. If you have any recommendations as to who can install everything for us that would be appreciated as well. We are located in Defiance, Ohio which is fairly rural. We hope to get this all set up before Aug for a trip to Montana and back. Thanks!!

Hey Kevin, congrats on the new motorhome. To flat tow your 2025 Buick Envista, I recommend the following parts:

Tow Bar and Safety Cables - Roadmaster Falcon 2 Tow Bar item # RM-520 and item # RM-643

Base Plate Kit - Roadmaster Direct-Connect Base Plate Kit - Removable Arms item # RM76DQ

Protective Screen - Roadmaster Tow Defender Protective Screen for Towed Vehicles item # RM-4750

Wiring and 7-Way Cable - Roadmaster Smart Diode Kit for Variable Voltage LED Tail Lights item # RM38FR

Battery Disconnect - Roadmaster Battery Disconnect for Towed Vehicle w/ Flat Tow Brake System item # RM-766

Supplemental Braking System - SMI Stay-IN-Play DUO Supplemental Braking System item # SM99251

It looks like your 2026 Coachmen Leprechaun 319MB Class C comes with a hitch, 7-way wiring harness, along with front and rear sway bars. I highly recommend adding the Safe-T-Plus Steering Stabilizer with Mounting Hardware Kit item # ST98MR.

The Safe-T-Plus item # ST98MR comes with custom fit brackets that are going to bolt directly to your motorhome. It is going to make for on overall better driving experience whether you're towing your Buick or not. it's going to keep your steering wheel centered and steady.

As far as a local installer goes, if you go to the Safe-T-Plus item # ST98MR product page and and scroll down below the pics on the left side you'll see a link that says, Locate installers near me. Go ahead and click on it and it will take you to a page where you'll be able to enter your zip code. Once you do this you'll be connected to our network of reputable installers in your area.
