Will The JR Products Quick-Disconnect Propane Adapter Fitting Attach To A Small Propane Bottle?

Question:

Converting my Jetboil halfgen to a quick release fitting, does the threaded end fit the regulator side. I purchased the hose that has a female quick release fitting on one end, I just need to know if the threaded end of this fitting has the same threads as a small propane bottle. Thanks

Hey Steven, thanks for reaching out. No. The JR Products Quick-Disconnect Propane Adapter Fitting # JR62ZR will not thread directly onto the regulator connection where a 1 lb propane cylinder would attach.

The # JR62ZR has a 1/4" male NPT threaded end on one side and a male quick-disconnect plug on the other.

The regulator on a Jetboil HalfGen is designed to thread onto a disposable 1 lb propane cylinder, which uses a 1"-20 UNEF connection. That thread is completely different from 1/4" NPT, so the fittings are not compatible.

I'm sorry to say it doesn't look like we offer an adapter with the connections you are looking for.
