Can Vitrifrigo Compressor Be Mounted Remotely When Replacing Norcold N4141

Question:
Have a Tiffin 2023 Wayfarer 25TW and the Norcold N4141 needs replacing. If you place the compressor in the back where there is the existing vent, power outlet and ledge for the Norcold, would this work with no impact in performance?

Hey D! Yes, you can mount the compressor in that location. The Vitrifrigo RV Refrigerator w/ Freezer # VT66FR allows the compressor to be installed remotely, so using the existing rear compartment is perfectly fine. Just keep it within 60" of the refrigerator, and the existing vent will provide the airflow the compressor needs, so you'll be all set.
