Is There a One-Piece 14-Pin EZ Connector Tractor-to-Trailer Cable?

Question:

good morning! i have a question about the 14 pin magnetic trailer plugs that i have been purchasing... i really like them but i was wondering if you can purchase a double ended cord for between a semi tractor and trailer?... we are building them now with 2-6 14 pin cord ends. but i would rather have a continuous wire rather than having a splice in the middle

Good morning, Nic! That's a great question. At this time, EZ Connector does not offer a one-piece double-ended cable for the 14-pin magnetic connector system like they do for their 7-pin models. I can definitely see why you'd want one, especially if you're building these for semi tractors and trailers. A continuous cable would eliminate the splice in the middle and make for a cleaner, more reliable installation.

The closest option EZ Connector currently offers is extra 14-pin cable, which you can purchase directly from their website by searching for "extra cable." Make sure you purchase the "extra cable" designed specifically for the 14 pin connector. I know that still means assembling the cable yourself, so it's not quite the plug-and-play solution you're hoping for but at least you don't have to go searching for the right gauge wire.

I actually think it's a great product suggestion for those that need to splice in to extend the connector, but I'd love to see EZ Connector offer a factory-made double-ended 14-pin cable in the future.

Out of curiosity, what are you hauling, and what kind of build are you wiring up next?
