Are There Adapters to Go From Coleman to Furrion RV AC Unit

RE: Furrion Chill HE - aka, eTrialer FR86PR. (Lippert FACR15HESA-BL-AM Furrion Chill Rooftop Camper AC - 15,000 Btu - Black 2021130008) My Furrion FR86PR install went well and it keeps my 35' Camper at the temperature I select (71F). It was a "drop-in replacement" for the old Dometic unit, so my existing thermostat, airbox and ducting still work. One Note: On "Hot Days", above 90F; My old thermostat will "rapidly cycle" the AC on and off, which would trip the breaker. So, on Hot days, I switch the Fan from Auto to low, and that eliminates the "breaker tripping issue". Breakers are not designed for "frequent tripping", and will quickly wear out, causing nuisance tripping (below their rating) requiring breaker replacement. My Existing Thermostat is (Dometic CT Single Zone Thermostat Control Kit Part nr: 9108853315 or Pn:3313191.000). This controls the New Furrion AC and my existing Gas Furnace. I chose the Furrion FR86PR for two reasons: - Because it was a "direct replacement" for my old Dometic 15K ac unit. - It works with my existing thermostat, so I can continue using my Gas Furnace. I considered the Variable speed unit, BUT it is not compatible with anything except Furrion parts (wouldn't work with my furnace, thermostat, etc). I am very happy with the performance of the Furrion HE (FR86PR).

I am no expert just a fellow camper. I would replace with another Coleman Mach if it were me. I no longer have my camper with the Furrion. I have a new camper with Coleman Mach and it is much quieter.

My advice is not to buy the Furrion units PERIOD. I bought and installed 2-15k Furrion Chill HE units in September 2025. through the cool months in arizona, I thought i had made an upgrade from the old dometics. one was tired and tripped the breaker regularly. As soon as hot weather arrived, and we started traveling through california arizona.Nevada, i'm with a home with a sweat box. i shouldn't have let it slide.The first season that I thought, well, it was extreme heat. For example, yesterday we were driving in Oklahoma and Missouri traveling to the FRVS International convention in Sedalia, MO. outside temperatures, where from 85 to 95 degrees. inside temperature was 90 degrees. Day before and arizona and texas is a temperature for about 95 to 102, the thermostats were showing the interior temperatures were 99 degrees. the temperature was probably higher the thermostats only go to 99. Totally disappointed in these units. There isn't really a good way to adapt the wiring. I've since been told the Furrions don't do well. over 105 , so why would any manufacturer or distributor ship them to Arizona. This is my second native comment, and no one has responded to me.
