Yes, the Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236 is confirmed to fit both a 2026 Kia Sportage and a 2026 Kia Sportage PHEV. Since it splices into your vehicle's wiring, this kit is a universal kit that will fit on virtually any vehicle.

This kit comes with quick connect wire connectors, but I don't recommend those to install wiring unless absolutely necessary. Instead, you can use Deka Heat Shrink Butt Connector - 12-10 Gauge - Nylon Insulation - Yellow - Qty 10 # DW05745-10 for more secure connections. To install those, you will need a wire stripper tool and a crimper to cut and splice your wires. Wire Cutters with In-Handle Crimper and Bolt Cutter - 8" Long # PT43ZR will be great for this job. This is all something that you can install yourself and it won't be overly complicated at all. Did your Kia also come with a trailer hitch as well, or are you needing to find a hitch? I have a couple of options for your vehicle that I can recommend, depending on how you plan on using it.

@JerryB It was a 2022. We have since sold it. I recall having to lengthen the wire to the furthest tail light, so that should be reviewed. Thanks
