Doorway frame entrance measures 29 and 3/8th inches. Would it be best to get the Torklift 5 step Revolution uprising 28 inch step rather than the 30 inch step? Thank you

The Uprising models are sized based on the doorway width between the door frame flanges. With a doorway opening of 29-3/8", I would recommend the 28" TorkLift GlowStep Revolution Uprising # TL64YR, not the 30" # TL47QV.
Since your opening measures 29.375", you only have about 1-3/8" of extra width beyond the minimum required for the 28" model. For RV step, you want the step assembly to be slightly smaller than the opening rather than trying to maximize width. A 30" step would likely be too wide for a 29-3/8" doorway and could interfere with installation.
One additional measurement you'll want to verify is the entry height from the mounting point down to the ground when the RV is level. That measurement determines whether you need the 3-step, 4-step, 5-step version
