Recommended Solution for Maintaining Ride Height while Towing with my 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer?

Updated 06/16/2026 | Published 06/14/2026

Question:

Hello, I have a 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer with the factory 10,000 lb towing package and rear coil-over suspension. I am looking for an adjustable rear air suspension or air-assisted suspension solution to support trailer tongue weight and maintain ride height while towing. Do you offer a direct-fit kit, conversion, or recommended solution for this vehicle?

Happy to help Peter, thanks for reaching out!

For your 2026 Jeep Grand Wagoneer with rear coil over suspension, our recommendation would be a weight distribution hitch rather than a air suspension system.

At this time, we don't have a confirmed fit rear air suspension system for the 2026 Grand Wagoneer coil over suspension. Even if a suspension system were available, it would primarily help raise the rear of the vehicle after it sags under tongue weight. It would not redistribute the load back onto the front axle.

A properly sized weight distribution hitch is the suggested solution because it:

Restores ride height by distributing tongue weight across all axles.
Transfers some of the load back to the front axle of the Jeep, improving steering and braking performance.
Reduces rear end squat more effectively than most suspension upgrades.

If you can provide:

Your trailer's loaded or GVWR weight and the expected tongue weight, we can recommend the right WDH for your setup.

What style of trailer are you towing?
