With a 32-foot Cedar Creek and a short bed F-350, my top recommendation is going to be a PullRite SuperGlide automatic sliding hitch. Short bed trucks need additional cab-to-trailer clearance during tight turns, and the nice thing about the SuperGlide is that it automatically slides as you turn. You don't have to get out of the truck, pull a lever, or remember to reposition the hitch before backing into a campsite. It takes one of the biggest concerns of towing a fifth wheel with a short bed and handles it for you.

The exact hitch depends on how your truck is equipped. If your F-350 does not have the factory puck system, I would look at the PullRite SuperGlide # PUL75RR, which includes the mounting rails needed for installation. If your truck does have the factory Ford puck system, the PullRite SuperGlide # PUL73RR is the better choice since it drops directly into the factory mounting points.

I completely understand wanting to get this right the first time. @AndrewW Since your F-350 has the factory Ford puck system, go with the PullRite SuperGlide # PUL73RR which drops down into the puck system. The SuperGlide has a great reputation for ride quality and takes a lot of the stress out of towing with a short bed truck. I think you'll be very happy with it. How long have you been towing the Cedar Creek?
