Axle Riser Kit for Lippert Axles

Updated 06/13/2025 | Published 04/19/2022

Question:

Does Lippert still offer a tandem axle lift kit for a fifth wheel camper?

I have an option for you, but there is not a Lippert lift kit specifically for tandem axles. Instead you would just use two of the axle riser kits (1 for each axle):

- Axle Riser Kit - Single Square Torsion Axle # LC382741 (works with Lippert 3,500 lb. square axles)

- Axle Riser Kit - Single Diamond Torsion Axle # LC270682 (works with Lippert 3,500 lb. diamond axles)

If you do not have one of those axle types then you would need a different kit. If this is the case, please let me know what axle and capacity you have and I would be happy to help you track down the correct lift kit.

@AlexisJ It looks like you have a Lippert 4,400 lbs torsion axle. You most likely need the Torflex Lift Kit item # DX56CR, which is designed for a #11 Dexter Torflex axle. Since you don't have much information, I recommend measuring the mounting bolt pattern attaching the axle to the frame. If yours is a #11 axle the 5/8" mounting bolts will be spread apart 9-1/2" from the center to center of the two bolts. If you get a different measurement go ahead and comment with it below and I'll locate the right lift kit for it that way.

okay we measured from middle of the hex bolt and it is about 9 1/2 and looks like has a bit of play. As long as our block in 11" thats what we need. This will still work? Thank you!! @JerredH

Scott, I am looking to purchase the Axle Riser Kit (Single Diamond Torsion Axle # LC270682) mentioned in your post I am replying too, but cannot find it on etrailer.com. Can you post a link to this part? -dan

@Dan Hey Dan, sadly the Single Diamond Torsion Axle # LC270682 is no longer available. If you have a single 3,500 lb torsion axle we do have the Torflex Lift Kit # K71-707-02 which works with the #10 torflex axles. This would be the only similar product still available.

@JesseM Thank you for the quick reply. Yes, sad the old part is no longer available. You said Torflex Lift Kit # K71-707-02 works with #10 torflex axles, and if I am correct, it should work with my Lippert 3,500 diamond axle. Right?' Thanks

@Dan It can work as long as your axle has rectangular brackets with an 8" bolt hole spacing where they mount to the frame

@Lex Does yours have the Curt Independent Beast Mode suspension system? If it does we do not have any way to lift it. If you have a torsion axle, I would need you to take a measurement so we can figure out which lifting block you need. You'll want to measure where the axle connects to the frame of your trailer from the center of the bolt to the center of the other bolt. Should be anywhere from 7"-12". Once you get this distance go ahead and throw it into the comment box and I'll find you the right blocks. Please note that if your have a diamond axle instead of a square one we do not have any lifting blocks for it.
