I need a base plate for my 2018 Sierra 1500. Im interested in the quick connects that you have on your website. That Blue ox number is bx1742. I need these for flat towing of my GMC please contact me so I can discuss this with you I need to order them immediately

It is a confirmed fit for the 2018 GMC Sierra 1500 and gives you the Blue Ox quick connect style you're looking for, while maintaining a clean appearance when the truck is not being towed. I completely understand wanting to get the right base plate the first time since a mix up in part numbers can create a lot of frustration, and BO94FR is the correct match for the BX1742 you mentioned.

If you're putting together a complete flat towing setup, you'll also need a compatible tow bar, vehicle wiring, and a supplemental braking system. The Blue Ox Alpha Tow Bar # BX7380 pairs very nicely with this base plate, and for lighting, the Roadmaster Diode Wiring Kit # RM-15247 is a great option.
