The good news is that your 2003 Keystone Hornet likely uses one of the two most common axle sizes, so we're probably just one measurement away from identifying the correct axle flip kit.
For a 2-3/8" diameter axle (typically 3,500–4,400 lb axles), you'd need kit # K71-384-00. For a 3" diameter axle (typically 5,200–7,000 lb axles), you'd need kit # K71-385-00.
I completely understand wanting to get the right kit the first time. An axle flip is a great way to gain ground clearance, but I just want to make sure we are choosing the right kit for you, so you don't have to stop mid project just to realize you have the wrong part. The goal is to get your Hornet sitting level behind the truck with enough clearance to comfortably handle driveways, fuel stations, and uneven campsites.
Unfortunately, there isn't much published information available on the axle specifications for your particular Hornet, so the next step is simply to verify either the axle diameter or the axle capacity listed on the axle tag. Once we have either of those numbers, we can confidently determine which kit you need.
Are you the original owner on this thing? I'm just curious how it's held up all these years. You hear some horror stories about poor build quality in the RV industry. I had a 2008 Jayco that did awesome for many years.
