Question:
I am looking at purchasing the furrion chill HE air condition system FR23TD. Is there a way to connect a hose to drain condensation off the roof?

Expert Reply:
No there is not Mike. The Furrion Chill HE RV Air Conditioner System item # FR23TD has multiple holes in the drain pan to allow condensation build up to evenly drain out onto the roof of your RV. With this design there isn't a way to connect a tube and control the direction of the water as it drains. You can see how many drain holes there are highlighted in the picture below.
The Chill HE System item # FR23TD comes with everything you need to upgrade an old AC system. The 15,000 btu AC unit has the new more efficient R32 refrigerant. The included air distribution box has the controls built into it and can be used in both ducted and ductless orientations. The included controller will allow you to use this system without a thermostat.
What kind of RV do you have and what AC system are you replacing?
