Question:
I have a small 2" ball coupler on my fishing boat trailer and the original snap pin is gone. I’m not sure what size it was, but the hole measures right around 1/4" not sure if that's correct?. Which RV Designer pin should I try?

Hey Ron! If the hole in your coupler latch measures 1/4", then both RV Designer options are in the right diameter range. That is the most common size for a coupler like that, so I'm confident you have the 1/4" size. The choice between them comes down to how wide the latch area is where the pin passes through.
For a smaller or fairly standard coupler latch, the RV Designer Safety Lock Pin # RD72GR is the one I’d check first. It has a 1/4 inch diameter and 2-1/2 inch usable length. If your coupler latch area is wider, or if the old pin had noticeably more reach, the RV Designer Safety Lock Pin # RD22GR gives you the same 1/4 inch diameter with a longer 3-1/2 inch usable length.
Ron, if you can measure from the outside of one side of the coupler latch area to the outside of the other, that’ll tell us whether the 2-1/2 inch or 3-1/2 inch version is the better match.
