Question:
I lost the little safety pin for the coupler latch on my utility trailer. The coupler still latches onto the ball, but I don’t like towing without that extra pin through it. Would the RV Designer RD72GR work for that? don't need a pricy one

Good morning Mark! Yes, the RV Designer Safety Lock Pin # RD72GR should work for you, depending on how wide your coupler latch area is. It’s a 1/4" diameter snapper-style safety pin that helps keep your coupler latch secured during transit, so the latch has that extra piece in place while you’re towing.
The # RD72GR has a 2-1/2" usable length, so the main thing to check is the width of your coupler where the pin passes through. If that span is 2-1/2" or less and the hole is 1/4", this will indeed be a good fit. If your coupler latch area is wider, you’ll want to look at the longer RV Designer Safety Lock Pin # RD22GR instead since it has a 3-1/2" usable length.
Mark, if you can measure across the latch tabs where that pin goes through, we can help make sure you get the right one the first time.
