Is the 2019 Ford Fusion exactly the same?

It sure is James! The 2019 Ford Fusion is part of the 2nd generation of Ford Fusions that came out from 2013–2020. There were some minor upgrades to the 2017 and 2019 model years that did not affect the hitch fitment unless you have the Sport model.

To add a hitch to your 2019 Ford Fusion, I recommend the EcoHitch item # 306-X7239. This is the only hitch available for the Fusion that has a 2" receiver. It will give you the widest range of options for accessories like a bike rack or cargo carrier along with ball mounts for towing.

I attached a picture below of the EcoHitch item # 306-X7239 installed on a 2019 Ford Fusion. I also linked a couple of installation videos so you can see how to get it setup.

Please note that the EcoHitch item # 306-X7239 does not fit the Sport models.
