Updated 05/14/2026 | Published 05/10/2026

Question:

hello Im looking for a replacement for my norcold DE105. Do you have any suggestions, it doesnt need to be norcold or even operate on propane. Just one the same size for easy fit in my trailer. Thank you very much.

Hey Richard, I looked up the dimensions of your Norcold DE105 and they are 30" H x 20-3/4" W x 20-1/8" D which is really close to the Norcold RV Mini Fridge part # NC37VR that you referenced so this would be a great option that would fit well. This is actually the DC105 which is very similar except runs of 12 volt power instead. How did you like what you had before?

I absolutely love mine. The 12v system has made me so self sufficient. Once cold it runs on about 3 ah or less, and doesn’t heat up its compressor near as much as my old Dometic 12v/120v/propane. Best of all it was so light I cold walk it into my Palamino slide in camper and connect ( less than an hour). I converted the propane connection to a nub I use for and outdoor bar b que. I love the set up

@BruceS - I’ve done the same and super happy with it. I always had trouble getting the old one running on propane. This one just works.
