Is The Victron Diode Battery Combiner VN67RR Waterproof?

is this water proof or should it be protected from water?

Hi Bob!

The Victron Diode Battery Combiner for 2 Batteries - 12V/24V - 80 Amp # VN67RR technically is waterproof, but the connections are open. With that said, it is best to have this in a protected are that will not be submerged or exposed to excessive salt water spray.

On that note, what are you wanting to install this on?

@BobS Gotcha. That shouldn't be a problem at all. I would still try to put it somewhere that keeps mostly dry though (like nowhere near the wheels). Just to be safe. ^___^ Have fun out there and let me know if there is anything else I can help with!
