Looking for Lippert Screen Defender to Fit 2017 Flagstaff Classic super lite 8529rlws

Question:

I am interested in the Lipper screen defender. I have a 2017 Flagstaff Classic super lite 8529rlws. I contacted flagstaff to find out who made my screen door. At the bottom I will copy their response. Do you have a lippert screen defender that will fit my door? F100051775 - SCREEN DOOR - SOP: RH, FRICTION HINGE - 30 X 71 1/2 - 7907806 - OLD PART 10-30653A The vendor is DEXTER AXLE.

Hey Mike, since you have a 30 inch door from what you mentioned the correct Lippert Screen Defender would be the part # LC92FR.

I appreciate your quick response however I have a fitment concern. I went to lipperts website and it seems according to what they have posted is that their defender screen is that it only fits a lippert screen door. Am I reading this wrong?

@MikeO You're right I should have seen that. You have a Dexter and this only fits Lippert. My apologies.

There are trim pieces that allow for some height adjustment but the width has to match. The screen door has to have the right profile to work. The are little pins at the bottom that fit in a track in the door. You tilt the screen to get the bottom in and there are spring clips that slide back to get the top in. One of the spring clips broke on ours and I just used black electrical tape to hold one side in. Works great to keep our dogs from pushing out the screen in the door.

I too had to read the application of this screen protector carefully. It is designed for a Lippert door. My suggestion is to purchase a gate that would work well for your rv. Before purchasing the unit I have we installed those and they worked well.
