How does this work with high-side tool boxes?

Hi Michael,

The Thule T-Rac Pro 2 Truck Bed Ladder Rack part # TH37003XT-EX is designed to secure to the trucks bed rail edges using C-clamps. High Side toolboxes tend to take up the same space on the edge of the truck bed rails which makes it unlikely to work with the Thule T-Rac Pro 2 because it could take up space where the clamps are supposed to install or not allow them to be tightened down all the way.

Only a side mounted ladder rack like the DeeZee Customizable Truck Bed Side Mount Ladder Rack part # DZ95053 would be able to work with your High Side side mounted toolboxes. It is 23" wide by 52 1/2" tall, so you'll need to measure your tool boxes to makes sure they'll fit between the legs of the ladder rack. It is rated for 200lbs and easily installs by bolting to brackets in the front and rear corners of the truck bed.
