Question:
I have a 2026 Kia Sportage hybrid. Looking for a trailer wiring harness for the car. When I look at the T connector style harnesses, they all say will not fit in my car. Only option appears to be spikes in model, which I am not crazy about doing. Is there no T connector model that will fit this car?

Hello Duncan, thanks for reaching out. At this time unfortunately there is no custom fit plug-in T-connector for the 2026 Kia Sportage Hybrid. The only option is a splice-in harness and for that you can use the following:
- Curt Powered Tail Light Converter with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C59236
This uses quick-splice connectors to tie into the vehicles brake light and taillight wires. I understand not being crazy about splicing into wires on your new car, but this is the only way to add a 4-flat right now.
What kind of trailer will you be hauling?
