Could Strombreg Extend a Handle # AM533 Fit on 2022 Jayco JayFeather

Question:
I am thinking of purchasing the Stromberg Carlson AM533 extend a hand extension handle for my 2022 Jayco Jay Feather model 166 FBS and would like to know if this will fit the existing holes on my camper or will I need to drill new holes. If this doe not fit which one would you recommend. thank you

Hey Norbert, the Stromberg handle part # AM-533 is designed to fit standard mounting handle applications but we don't have a way to know if your Jayco has that currently. So what you can do is measure the distance between the mounting brackets you have now and if that distance is 19-1/4 inches this would fit and work great.
If you have a different distance that you measure let me know and I'll see if there's an alternate that would work.

My Keystone 295RL factory rail had the exact same holes. All I did was add a little silicone on the new screws to make waterproof. Took about 10 minutes at most.

We bought this exact handrail specifically for the added safety getting up and down the stairs. Everything needed in the box. Simple, straightforward installation, works like a charm. This handle is very easy to install. I added silicone sealer to the brackets just to make sure of no leaks.Not much needed. It is well worth the money and my wife loves it for the stability it offers

Will it fit the same holes - probably. When I bought this and held it up to where the holes were, the top rail was way too high to be usable - almost eye level seemed a lot pointless. The remedy - purchase some closed rivets to put in the existing holes to seal them and put the railing where it will work for you. Nail polish paints the rivets nicely. David

Hi - just read the info and I can add one additional piece of information - I measured the distance between the top bracket screws and the bottom bracket screws and it is exactly 19 1/4 inches - if I use the bracket spacing the measurements are different - so am I good with the 19 1/4 spacing? Many thanks for the response and assistance - hopefully this be the answer I am looking for. norbert morin
