Replacement Breakaway Battery Recommendation

Question:

My trailer has a battery box with the same exact dimensions of TN65117. However, the battery looked like a box filled with D-batteries, and its bad. I dont know what brand the braking system is. Will the Titan battery that its in this box work for other systems already in place, or do I need to buy the whole kit Im trying to keep my trailer fixes affordable? Is there a single battery available to purchase that will work?

It sounds like you are looking for a replacement breakaway battery to replace the bad one on your trailer.

If so, what you would need is the Breakaway Kit Replacement 12 V Battery # HM20008. This battery has the exact same dimensions as the battery that would fit in the Battery Box part # TN65117 that you referenced and would work well with your breakaway system.
