Hey Julie, thanks for reaching out. For the GE Profile Propane RV Range # GE57VR the max current draw is less than 1 amp. The GE Profile unit is a propane range, so electrically it’s barely doing anything. The 12-volt side is only there for the igniter, the oven light, and the control lighting, not the actual cooking.

As far as wiring goes, you don’t need anything heavy. A standard 14-gauge 12-volt feed is more than enough for this, especially with the short runs you typically have in an RV.

What rig are you putting this in?

We replaced a Furrion stove with the GE. There were only a couple of wires to connect, hot and negative. They only control the lights on the stove, and our rig has a light in the ceiling over the stove the electric was tied into. Very simple replacement.

As stated 12 vdc is only for lights. Simple install, propane, pos / neg 12 vdc. Word of caution my oven’s pilot light propane connection was so lose the pilot light was not reliable lighting and sometimes causing the flame to flash back to the loose connection. I took the oven apart and corrected this. The pilot gas connection had zero threads engaged.
