Question:
I have a load/weight distributing hitch with sway bars for my trailer. I am wondering if I will have enough room for the bikes between the vehicle and the propane tanks?

This is the age old question since the dawn of towing bike racks. The only way to figure it out is to try it. It will likely reduce the turning radius of the trailer. And depending on where the tanks are, they could be the likely point of contact.
You could avoid all of that by using the super sweet Bike Bunk Trailer mount bike carrier # CC-275. This carrier and a 2 inch receiver for a bike rack and the distance from top of A-frame trailer to top of cross tube is 33-1/2 inches.
It will fit behind weight distribution brackets as you can see in the picture. It has a capacity of 100 pounds which would include the weight of the bike rack and bikes. So I recommend a light bike rack that we have that can be used in this capacity such as # Y02476 which weighs just 32 pounds.
