Question:
I have a Reese 5th wheel hitch on my pickup will these air bags work
asked by: MICHAEL B
Expert Reply:
No, they're not Michael but I have other kits that are. Since your 2020 Ford F-150 has 5th wheel rails, I recommend the following Air Lift Kits that are compatible with in bed hitches. Which one you need will depend on whether your truck is 2WD or 4WD.
2WD- Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs item # AL57268
4WD- Air Lift LoadLifter 5000 Air Helper Springs item # AL57385
These air bag kits have a 5,000 lbs capacity that will level out the rear end of your F-150 when you are towing your 5th wheel trailer. All the custom fit mounting brackets and hardware you'll need for installation are included.
I also recommend adding the Air Lift WirelessONE item # AL25980 to your truck. This onboard compressor will allow you to adjust the PSI in your air bags from your phone or the included remote.
What kind of 5th wheel trailer are you pulling?
