There seems to be some conflicting information about this item. Can the Curt Pop-In Ball part C60601 work in a 2025 GMC 2500 factory puck system?

It can not Jared. For the puck system in your 2025 GMC Sierra 2500, you'll need the Curt Pop-In Ball item # C60627. The diameters of the Ram and GM pucks and gooseneck ball are slightly different. If you use the Curt C60601 for Ram trucks on your Sierra, the locking mechanism won't engaged properly and it'll be loose.

We also have the Curt Ball and Safety Chain Loop Kit item # C38CR. This kit includes the hitch ball and the safety chain loops.
