Steering Stabilizer and Suspension Enhancement for 2022 Thor Chateau M25 350

Updated 04/21/2026 | Published 04/09/2026

Question:

We have a 2022 Thor Chateau M25 350. We have already added a leaf for sway and payload. Two questions: 1. The steering is not the best. Does this unit even have a steering stabalizer? Between the Safe t Plus and Roadmaster, what is the best steering stabalizer? 2. Between Sumo and Timbren springs, what is better? I heard that Timbren hold up better in our harsh Michigan winters. Are both front and rear springs needed?

Hey Robert, we do have steering stabilizers that fit your 2022 Thor Chateau M25 350. We have the Roadmaster Exact Center part # RM47MR and the Safe-T Plus part # ST98MR which will both work great. Neither is a bad option but I really like the Safe-T Plus as since we know it works great and all of the components of the stabilizer are covered so there's less risk of it getting damaged.

I prefer the SumoSprings kits over the Timbrens as the Timbrens are known to be a bit harsher. So for the rear you would want the part # SSR-130-54 and the front part # SSF-106-47. How would you describe the handling of the RV currently?

Thank you for the response. As recommended, we purchased the Safe t Plus steering stabalizer. We decided to go with the Timbren verus the sumo, as we live in Michigan with some harsher winters, and our understanding is that the Timbrens hold up better in winter conditions. Thank you again for your help, and we should be all set.
