Question:

Need a very light duty probably class 1 trailer hitch for my 2024 LExus NX250. I only need to take my bike around. And would like to pick up from a local dealer in the Los Angeles area and have your partner dealer install it for me. Is the a class 1 or the lightest is class 2?

Hey Alen. I checked with our vendors and the only hitch available for your 2024 Lexus NX 250 is the Curt item # C77MJ. This is a class III hitch with a 2" receiver so it will work great for a bike rack. The 2" receiver will you give a much wider range of options for bike racks.

To find a local installer in the LA area, you will want to the product page of the Curt Hitch item # C77MJ and scroll down below the pics on the left side you'll see a box that says, SCHEDULE AN INSTALLATION. Go ahead and click on it and it will take you to a page where you'll be able to enter your zip code. Once you do this you'll be connected to our network of reputable dealers in your area.

What kind of bike do you have and do you already have a bike rack? If so what kind? Many bike rack manufacturers make special shank adapters so their bike racks can be used with 1-1/4" and 2" hitches. I would just need to know what make and model your bike rack is.
