Question:

Watchdog Power Center Surge Protector and Voltage Booster - Bluetooth and WiFi - 50 Amp Part Number: HU74ZR Is this the same as hughes is selling on there site? They are selling for $1199.99 If they are the manufacturer how can you sell it for less?

Hey Ted, yes the Watchdog Powercenter part # HU74ZR is the same as the Hughes part number WPC50A which they do sell on their site for more than we do. It really comes down to how much of a margin they want but we do our best to be as competitive as possible. Just looking around other places it does seem like directly from them it costs the most. What kind of RV do you have and what are you powering inside it?

@TedS Hello Ted: Your comment, " I wanna power everything. But I don't have unlimited funding so powering what I can" leads me to believe you may not understand the purpose of this device. It has no bearing on the topic of how big or small your electrical loads are. If your RV has a 50 amp service, this device is the one you want. The 30 amp version is for smaller RV's. It will protect your rig against bad power from the campground, however it doesn't affect how much you run in your RV, positively or negatively. If you can afford a $100k rig, you can afford this device, and everyone should have one. Years ago, my rig was damaged by bad campground power, but this item would have prevented it. I wish I had it then! Prevent a possible headache and get one. ( No I am not an employee, Just a camper with 38 years of RVing behind me.) All the best! Happy camping.
