Hi Jamie!

For your 2018 Chrysler 300S, I recommend the Curt T-Connector Vehicle Wiring Harness with 4-Pole Flat Trailer Connector # C56235. This is a plug and play wiring harness that does need one wire run up to the battery for needed power, but overall it's not too difficult of an install. I included an install video we did with this harness on a 2017 300 for you to check out as well.

The other harness you saw was likely the Tekonsha T-One 118658. This harness installs the exact same way as the Curt, but their parent company is having a few issues as of late, so this was removed from our site for now.

If you don't already have a hitch on your 300, the Curt Trailer Hitch Receiver # C13093 would be a great choice. This has a 2" receiver that I always recommend when available. There are just more options available for this size hitch than there are for the 1-1/4" hitches.

What are you planning on towing?

Adding on to what Lazer S wrote, the Curt T-Connector Harness is a fairly easy install and works great. The battery of the 300 is right there in the trunk so it is relatively painless to hook the harness up to it. Just follow the included instructions and take your time.

@PeteA Thanks for your input! Trunk mounted batteries definitely make the process a lot easier.
