Question:

Does the Chill Cube shut down completely then it reaches set temp on the remote or does the fan run non stop when turned on? Does the Chill Cube discharge cold air from the front of the unit? My duct is in the front of the opening.

Hey, Michael.

The Furrion Chill Cube part #FR99TD uses a variable-speed compressor, so it doesn’t completely shut off once it reaches your set temperature. Instead, it ramps down and continues running at a lower speed to maintain a steady, comfortable temperature. This also helps keep things quieter and more consistent inside your RV.

As for airflow, the distribution box does have an adjustable vent that lets you control how the air is directed. So if your duct is toward the front, you can open or adjust the vent to help direct more airflow that way.
