Harley Saddlebag Buckle Replacement 1-1/2 Inch Buckle

Question:

Two of these came off a saddlebag on a 2012 Harley. A 2 year old yanked and broke them. Ive included pictures with a tape measure showing the size. If your buckle fits Ill probably by 4, you never know when the other side will go. fingers crossed. thanks

Hi Greg, I know exactly what you mean, those little parts always seem to break at the worst time, especially when 2 year olds are involved!

I went out to the warehouse and checked these myself, and the buckles part # EX54440100 measure right at 1-1/2 inches wide and 1-1/2 inches tall, which lines up with what you showed in your photos. While we don’t have a direct Harley-specific fitment callout, we have had a couple customers use these as replacements on Harley saddlebags with good results, so based on the size match you should be in really good shape.

I think your plan of grabbing a few extras is a solid move so you’re not dealing with this again down the road. What kind of Harley do you have?

@HeatherA I got the buckles and put them right on the saddle bags. perfect fit. I then went over to my truck and put something down on my Trifecta tonneau cover. I looked down and just shook my head and laughed...

@GregC That made me LOL, I am glad they worked out! It's nice to have confirmation for future customers. Now you know you can always steal one from the cover in a pinch haha
