What Trailer Suspension Shackle Length is Closest to 3 inches

Question:
my shackles appear to be 3s bolt to bolt. do you have shackles this long? am i being fooled by the worn holes?

Hey Vern, the closest trailer shackle kit to what you mentioned would be 3-1/8 inches like what comes with the kit part # LC64FR. This is for a tandem axle trailer. Is that what you have?

My old shackles were wore completely out. The bolt were wore all the way thru the shackles and the plastic liners on the springs were gone. The new kit from Etrailer had all of the correct parts to fix them and besides helping the suspension work right it raised the trailer back up to factory specs. I would suggest the kit and parts that etrailer sells are the best you can buy and if you run into a problem they can work it out. Great People.

I think the ones you need are a different part number from Dexter the shackle hanger looks like a triangle like the old one but all the pins and bushings are greasable and are metal instead of plastic if I can figure out how to share pictures on this page I would send you seem
