Adding a Camera With an Existing Voyager Monitor VOM719WP

Updated 03/18/2026 | Published 03/12/2026

Question:

Hi, I own a 2023 Renegade Explorer Super C with a Cascadia chassis. The coach currently has a Voyager vom719wp camera system. I am ordering an enclosed trailer and I want to add an auxiliary rear camera for the rear of the enclosed trailer. My coach has a plug in the rear already wired. What camera options do I have that will work seamlessly with the current system?

Hey, Ted. Thanks for your question.

Since you’re already running the Voyager monitor # VOM719WP, the Voyager Rear Camera # VCMS17B will be exactly what you need.

This camera includes a 36" lead, so you will most likely need an extension cable to reach the back of your enclosed trailer. The correct length will depend on the overall trailer length and how you plan to route the wiring.

Here are the extension options we have available:

Extension Cable - 15' Long # CEC15
Extension Cable - 25' Long # CEC25
Extension Cable - 34' Long # CEC34
Extension Cable - 50' Long # CEC50
Extension Cable - 75' Long # CEC75

Once you have that extension in place, it’ll give you a clean, plug-and-play setup with your current Voyager system.

What are you planning to haul in the trailer once you get everything set up?

@JohnD Thanks for sharing how your install went. Were you adding a camera to your set up or replacing?
