Connectors to Power an Electric Trailer Winch from a Vehicle Battery

Question:
I have a jeep that Ill be connecting this to to power a 20-30 amp winch. How many amps is this connector rated for?

Pollak 7-Way to 12 volt adapter # PK11896 can handle a 20 to 30 amp power draw but the limiting factor will be if the 7-Way on the vehicle is rated high enough as well. Check the fuse for the 12 volt circuit for the tow package trailer connector to make sure it is also rated high enough.
Using an adapter like this is not traditionally how an electric winch is powered. It should have its own connector separate from the trailer connector. We have a help article that covers the different ways you could wire a winch which I have linked for you.
