Availability Of Extended Wiring Harness For Tekonsha Prodigy P2 Brake Controller

Question:
re Tekonsha Prodigy P2 I bought the cable to hook into my Tacomas wiring harness from you. Is a M-F extension cable available? Either end would work. Reason? Im always banging my knee on the bracket and want to move it more to the center of the vehicle. Thank you,

Hey David, thanks for reaching out, and yea those knee-knockers are a huge pain (literally).
We actually used to carry an 18" long extended harness for the Tekonsha brake controllers, but we couldn't get them from the manufacturer anymore, so we had to discontinue it. At this point your best bet would be to just take some spare wire and a few heat shrink butt connectors and make your own extension.
What kind of trailer do you usually haul with your Tacoma?

I have a Casita 17 Spirit Deluxe. Love it! BTW, your suggestion of a DIY extension is a good one. Simple enough to do.
